तोड़ कर जोड़ लो चाहे हर चीज़ दुनिया की,
सबकी मरम्मत मुमकिन है ऐतबार के सिवा।
ज़रूरी तो नहीं के शायरी वो ही करे जो इश्क में हो,
ज़िन्दगी भी कुछ ज़ख्म बेमिसाल दिया करती है।
खुद को पढ़ते है, फिर छोड़ देते है।
एक पन्ना ज़िन्दगी का, हम रोज मोड़ देते है।
ज़िन्दगी की हकीकत को बस हमने इतना ही जाना है,
दर्द में अकेले हैं और खुशियों में सारा जमाना है।
किस तरह जमा करें अब अपने आप को
काग़ज़ बिखर रहे हैं पुरानी किताब के।
हजारों लोग शरीक हुए थे जनाज़े में उसके,
तन्हाइयों के खौफ से जो शख्स मर गया।
कुछ दोस्त कमाओ थोड़ा प्यार खर्च करो,
ज़िन्दगी में हिसाब कुछ इस तरह से करो।
नींद आना खत्म हो जाये जहाँ से।
बस ज़िन्दगी के सफर की शुरुआत, वहीं से होती है।
ए-ज़िन्दगी, इतनी ठोकरे देने के लिए शुक्रिया,
चलने का न सही सम्भलने का हुनर तो आया।
हमने तो ज़िन्दगी की बहुत सी खुशियों को बर्बाद किया है,
तब हमने दर्द में मुस्कुराने का हुनर आबाद किया है।
ज़िन्दगी तेरी भी, अजब परिभाषा है
सँवर गई तो जन्नत, नहीं तो सिर्फ तमाशा है।
बड़े लोगों से मिलने में हमेशा फासला रखना,
जहाँ दरिया समन्दर में मिले दरिया नहीं रहता।
मैंने जिन्दगी से पूछा, सबको इतना दर्द क्यों देती हो?
जिन्दगी ने हंसकर जवाब दिया, मैं तो सबको ख़ुशी ही देती हूँ,
पर एक की ख़ुशी दुसरे का दर्द बन जाती है।
ये मत पूछना कि ज़िन्दगी,
खुशी कब देती है?
क्योंकि शिकायतें तो उन्हें भी है,
जिन्हें ज़िन्दगी सब कुछ देती है।
ज़िन्दगी भी कितनी अजीब है,
जो कभी सोचा वो कभी मिला नही,
जो पाया कभी सोचा नही,
और जो मिला रास आया नही,
जो खोया वो याद आता है,
और जो मिला सम्भाला जाता नही।
रोते हुए नयन देखे
मुस्कुराता हुआ अधर देखा
गैरों के हाथों में मरहम
अपनों के हाथों में खंजर देखा।
तहज़ीब के खिलाफ हुआ सच का बोलना,
अब झूठ ज़िन्दगी के सलीक़े में आ गया।
ज़िन्दगी इतनी भी बुरी नहीं है कि,
मरने को दिल चाहे।
बस कुछ लोग इतना दर्द देते हैं कि,
जीने का दिल नहीं करता।
ये ज़िन्दगानी तो बहुत हल्की हुआ करती है,
दम तो हमारी ख्वाइशें निकाल दिया करती हैं।
ऐसे माहौल में दवा क्या है दुआ क्या है,
जहाँ कातिल ही खुद पूछे कि हुआ क्या है?
कुछ रहम कर ऐ ज़िन्दगी, थोडा संवर जाने दे।
तेरा अगला जख्म भी सह लेंगे, पहले वाला तो भर जाने दे।
ज़िन्दगी में कभी झुकना पड़े तो कभी मत घबराना,
क्योंकि झुकता वही है जिसमे जान होती है,
और अकड़ तो मुर्दे की पहचान होती है।
जेब में जरा सा सूराख क्या हुआ,
सिक्कों से ज्यादा रिश्ते गिर पड़े।
इस दुनिया में कोई खुशियों की चाह में रोता है,
कोई गमो की पनाह में रोता है,
अजीब ज़िन्दगी का सिलसिला है,
कोई भरोसे के लिए रोता है,
कोई भरोसा करके रोता है।
